Vedanshi Sarda
Vedanshi Sarda is a designer and researcher pursuing an MSc in Design for Interaction at TU Delft, Netherlands. With a foundation in Interior Design from CEPT University, her practice bridges user experience, cultural research, and spatial interaction.
Her work is grounded in close engagement with people and contexts, using ethnographic and narrative methods to explore how culture, objects, spaces, and systems shape everyday experience. She approaches design not only as problem-solving, but as a way to reveal hidden relationships, frictions, and meanings within lived life.
At CEPT, she served as a Teaching Associate and Researcher, receiving the CEPT Excellence Award for her final project an experiential theatre for Kathakali-based Ramlila and the University-level Distinguished Student Award. Her writing on architecture and design has been published with Re-thinking the Future.
Her research includes ethnographic studies of terracotta craft in Kutch and fieldwork in Sikkim, documenting vernacular architecture and cultural practices. Alongside her design practice, she has trained in Bharatanatyam for 17 years, earning the title Nritya Jyoti and completing Visharad Purna, shaping her sensitivity to embodiment, temporality, and storytelling.
Her current interests lie in aesthetics, mythology, and cultural narratives, exploring how design can surface unseen layers of everyday life and create meaningful experiences across physical and digital contexts.
